I was playing with the flower stencil from the Elegant Trio Décor Stencils yesterday and thought it would be cool to cut around the petals of the flower stencil so they could pop out from the card (I used a hobby blade). I liked how adding a dark color of cardstock behind the flower gave it an instant shadow for even more dimension!
Before I pulled off the stencil I gave the flower a spray of Frost White Shimmer Paint (thinned with a little bit of rubbing alcohol) to give it some sparkle.
All supplies Stampin' Up!
This is truly beautiful! Now you've got my mind wondering how I can use my own stencils. Don't have this one but it is gorgeous!
